Symbolic Paths to Collective Liberation
Symbolically Aligning With All That Is
We’re officially halfway through winter in the Northern Hemisphere celebrated as Imbolc, a Gaelic festival welcoming the return to light and beginnings of Spring. It is the perfect time to begin that Spring Cleaning as this time signifies purification and renewal (even though Spring feels far away at the moment, we’re getting there!).
Today is also a full moon in Leo and I personally love to find the symbolism in just about everything, especially when it comes to connecting with our natural world and the rhythms that are often overlooked. By paying attention and intentionally aligning myself with the ebbs and flows happening around me, I have a greater sense of my interconnectedness not only with other forms of life, but with the very nature of the universe itself.
This unique convergence creates a doorway for collective transformation—and understanding how to walk through it begins with personal practice.
Here’s a little glimpse into my process of bridge building to the symbolic world.
The full moon is a time to celebrate, reflect, give thanks and release.
Each moon phase has its own symbolic energy
I like to take a moment to journal about these topics and how they reflect in my personal life.
For example:
what are three things I can celebrate from this past month, big or small?
what areas need deeper reflection? what insights have been gained since the last full moon?
what are ten things I can give thanks for?
what do I need to release in order to make room for something new/to feel better/to take the next big step etc.
Then I take into account, what sign is the moon in and this full moon it is in the sign of Leo: the lion, the sun, a warm generous heart, and also dramatic flair and confidence. When you have your own personal alignment with these energies, it ripples outward and Leo energy is inherently about bold self-expression that inspires others.
I go through these traits similarly to the themes of the full moon and see if these they are showing up in my personal life or within the collective.
The Symbolism Behind Our Collective Revolutionary Frequencies
This particular day brings me hope and a feeling of courage leading with my heart and following the light that comes from within and without. As I sit with these Leo qualities—courage, heart-centered leadership, bold authenticity and the Imbolc qualities of purification I don’t believe the current affairs of the world are a coincidence; this is the collective awakening to revolutionary frequencies.
Our skies are in the same placements that they were during previous times of revolution such as the Age of Aquarius when Pluto enters Aquarius (Industrial Revolution, US, French, Haitian Revolutions), or Uranus moving into Taurus (1777 Revolutionary period & WWII), Saturn entering Aries (rise in fascism in Germany and Italy, MLK & JFK assassinations), Neptune also entering Aries (American Civil War).
This matters because symbolism is pattern recognition across time. While Saturn makes its full rotation about every 30 years, planets like Pluto take 248 years, Neptune 165 years, Uranus 85 years, meaning these transits are big and significant and historical markers that most never experience in their lifetime. But here we are, experiencing all of them simultaneously.
These energies are being amplified more and more and we have been seeing this happening in waves all around the world like the overthrow of their government in Nepal and then Bulgaria taking to the streets (in November of 2025 : Pluto enter Aquarius) getting their officials to step down because of corruption, and more recently the events in Minnesota in the US & the current revolution in Iran.
An Awakening is Happening
People everywhere are waking up and seeing that these systems in place that spoke to us of a better world, one with peace and prosperity have failed us. It is true there has been peace, it is true many have prospered, but at what cost?
There was meant to be a balance of power. It is why we ended monarchies. But these power shifts have rearranged themselves cleverly and become hidden in plain sight. Large corporations and their shareholders have become interwoven into our policy making systems and control institutions, media and our collective public narratives about norms in our society in a way that specifically benefits their pockets, not the people.
It is scary to see the power they hold and how they wield it but incredibly inspiring to hear how many people are becoming aware, as if awakening from the slumber of hypnosis that things could be so much better, not only for our general quality of life, but for all life on the planet and generations to come. This awakening in itself is also in alignment with the planetary shifts and symbolism ~ to see clearly and stand in our truth.
Remembering our Power as Co-Creators of Reality
Most importantly people are remembering their connection to the divine and their intricate role as co-creators of their reality. This remembrance places power back into the hands of each individual. The “way things are” is simply an outcome of someone’s ideas. These ideas can change and this is the period of time where we watch old frameworks that benefit the minority crumble and be rebuilt into systems that benefit all.
And whether you buy into the astrology or not, the fact is these movements are in alignment with the symbolism of:
Pluto in Aquarius : dismantling outdated hierarchies, technological revolutions, and the rise of collective, humanitarian power
Uranus in Taurus : a radical, disruptive overhaul of traditional structures, specifically targeting finance, material resources, agriculture, and environmental stability
Neptune in Aires : a powerful fusion of spiritual idealism with fiery, individualistic action, signaling a shift from passive dreaming to actively fighting for a new reality
The Future is Full of Hope
There is a lot of work ahead of us and I’m not sure we will see the full results in our lifetime, however I think it’s an incredibly exciting time to be alive. Bold thinking? Why yes, perhaps that the Leo energy coming through today on this full moon. I also have confidence to say I believe we are going to hear more from one another as the days go by about what we want to see in place of the systems that we are collectively identifying as failures.
This requires a lot of trust in ourselves. It requires knowing oneself and having a direct line open to the resonance and frequency of truth ~ our inner knowing.
I continue to brew up ideas for what I want to see this world transform into. I look forward to seeing and hearing the visions of others so we together can begin to build.
I think revolution is to see the systems in place and not only dream of the new systems, but begin to live them by creating them in your personal life. Defy the narratives of what it means to be ‘normal’, because to be normal in this world is compliance to madness, violence, greed, and a loss of connection to the divine that makes us what we are.
